UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2018/2019 DRAW & 2017/2018 AWARDS!!!

The draw for the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League took place in Monaco, France a while ago with last season’s champions Real Madrid drawing AS Roma, CSKA Moscow & Viktoria Plzen in Group G. Last season’s Europa League & current UEFA Super Cup champions Atletico Madrid draw Dortmund, Monaco & Club Brugge in Group A.

In the awards, Real Madrid swept all awards with Cristiano Ronaldo now at Juventus winning the FORWARD OF THE SEASON, Sergio Ramos winning DEFENDER OF THE SEASON, Keylor Navas winning GOALKEEPER OF THE SEASON and Luka Modric winning MIDFIELDER OF THE SEASON. Luka Modric also won the overall UEFA BEST PLAYER of the 2017/2018 season.

Below are the full groupings of the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League season with the corresponding dates of the various stages.

Group A: Atlético Madrid , Borussia Dortmund, AS Monaco, Club Brugge

Group B: Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, PSV Eindhoven, Inter Milan

Group C: Paris Saint-Germain, Napoli, Liverpool, Crvena Zvezda

Group D: Locomotiv Moskva, Porto, Schalke, Galatasaray

Group E: Bayern München, Benfica, Ajax, AEK Athens

Group F: Manchester City, Shakhtar Donetsk, Olympique Lyon, Hoffenheim

Group G: Real Madrid, Roma, CSKA Moskva, Viktoria Plzen

Group H: Juventus, Manchester United, Valencia, Young Boys

Kick-off Date: 8th September 2018

· Round of 16 Draw: 17th December 2018

· Round of 16 Kick-off: 12th February 2019

· Quarter-final/Semi-final Draws: 15th March 2019

· Quarter-Final: 9th April 2019

· Semi-Final: 30th April 2019

· Final: 1st June 2019
