Hasaacas Ladies win the NC Women Special Competition after coming from a goal down to win 3-2

The venue and the center of attraction this afternoon was at the El Wak stadium where we witnessed the final of the Normalisation Committee Women Special Competition. It was Hasaacas Ladies that emerged victorious at the end after humbling Ampem Darkoa 3-2 this afternoon.

Prior to the final, Ampem Darkoa eliminated Prison Ladies by 5-1 on aggregate scoreline in the semi finals whiles winners Hasaacas ladies also struggled to make it to the final with the help of away goal rule. The thrashed Sea Lions 2-1 at home in the first leg but lost the reverse fixture by 3-2.

The game commenced on a high note with both teams eager to find the back of the net. The Nanamma went up by 2-0 in the first half thanks to Ophelia Serwaa Amponsah and Mavis Owusu.

They still dominated the game by creating some decent chances but couldn’t make anything useful out them.

Hassacas ladies after going down 2-0 returned into the game strongly as the intensity of the game kept going higher. They equalised and went on to win by 3-2 at the end. Goals scored by Badu Evelyn, Milot Pokuah and a penalty kick from Perpetual Agyekum sealed everything for the Hasma ladies.

Big congratulations to Hasaacas Ladies for clinching the GFA Normalisation Committee Women’s special competition.
