Ghana is preparing to start camping ahead of the 2019 African Cup of Nations which commences in some few months time.
The Government of Ghana this afternoon has approved US$8 million as the budget for the Nations cup. In the last edition that was in 2017, it was US$3.5 million but has now raised up due to the increment in some of the bonuses.
There is an increase in the normal appearance fee whiles per diem has also risen from $100 to $150 with winning bonus also moving up from $5,000 to $10,000 in every game.
Ghana is drawn in Group F alongside defending champions,m Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau. They are looking forward to winning the AFCON for the first time since 1982.
