Asante Kotoko ended their Confederations Cup compaign after failing to advance from the group stages after amassing seven points in the competition.
The Confederation of African Football has this afternoon, charged Asante Kotoko S.C for exhibiting an indiscipline act during their African campaign especially in the game against Al Hilal in Kumasi.
The two times African champions were charged to pay $5,000 for throwing objects on the pitch from the center line stand in their game against Sudanese giant Al Hilal. Another $4,000 fine follows for failing to keep the seats at the dug outs of thr Baba Yara stadium in a good shape. This means the Porcupine Warriors will pay a total of $9,000 fine to CAF so they won’t repeat that again and to also serve as deterrent to others.
