Ghanaian giant Accra Hearts of Oak landed a partnership deal with UK manufacturing company UMBRO as their kit sponsors last year. The deal was signed by then club CEO Mr. Mark Noonan who left the club few months ago.
Finally after almost a year, the much awaited kit has finally been handed to the Phobians. It was presented to them last week and the unveiling of their new UMBRO kits will be honoured today at the Ohene Gyan Stadium at exactly 4:00pm local time.
The club took to their Facebook handle today and their message was to invite all their fans nationwide and the various media houses to come and grace the occasion. Official club statement reads:
“We take this opportunity to invite the media and the sporting public to the unveiling of our @umbro kits at the Accra Sports Stadium today. The event starts at 4:00pm and would be held at the Media Centre. Phooobiaa, Masters. #AHOSC”
The UK kits suppliers have provided the Phobians with a nice and quality replica jerseys to be used for the upcoming season. The home jersey is dominated with red and the other rainbow colours been stripped on it. As usual, the away Jersey is also dominated is also dominated with a white colour with yellow and blue strips on it.
UMBRO is known very well as far as football is concerned. They provide jerseys to a lot of football clubs in the world and Hearts of Oak has finally joined. They provide kits to clubs like Everton FC, PSV Eindhoven, West Ham United, AFC Bournemouth etc. Also in Africa, they provide jerseys to African giants Al Ahly, Esperance Kariobangi Sharks etc.
