One can say Ghana international midfielder, Anthony Annan is indeed a journeyman in football after landing his seventh club in his career. He inked a year deal with Finnish Premier side FC Inter Turku FC.
The 33 year old has been without a club for some time now since leaving Israeli outfit Beita Jerusalem FC. He has returned back to Finland after leaving HJK Helsinki in 2018 but will this time around be heading to the Veritus Stadion.
Anthony Annan’s move to FC Inter Turku has marked his seventh club in his football career, his fourteenth in Europe. He left Sekondi Hassacas and joined Hearts of Oak before moving to IK Start in Norway, his first European club in 2007.
Glories, the experience midfielder has won the Norwegian league three times with both IK Start and Rosenborg. He again won the DFB Pokal and the German Super Cup in his days at the Veltins Arena with Shalke O4 in 2011.
Also, he was an integral member of the Black Stars since making his debut in 2007 having featured in three AFCON tournaments (2008, 2010 and 2012). He was also part of the Black Stars team that reached the quarter final in the 2010 world cup.
