The highest football governing body, Federation International Football Association (FIFA) has again extended the mandate of the GFA Normalisation Committee to the 17th November 2019, the second time they are extending the mandate of the country’s interim football governing body.

Initially, their second  mandate was supposed to come to an end on 30th September but the Normalisation Committee have gotten an extension from FIFA in order to supervise the upcoming GFA election very well.

The main reason behind this extension is for the Normalisation Committee to put things in proper place and organised a free and fair elections. However, to elect our new GFA President and its Executive Council Members on fair grounds.

In view of this, the interim football governing body, the Normalisation Committee headed by Dr. Kofi Among will still remain in office until November 17.
