Ghanaian giant, Accra Hearts of Oak have this afternoon announced the signing of goalkeeper Richard Attah on a long term deal following his contract expiration with Elmina Sharks few days ago.
The stalwart goalie took to his official Facebook handle few days ago to announce his departure from Sharks after spending two years in Elmina.
Hearts of Oak wrote on their official Facebook page;
“The Hearts of Oak management is delighted to announce the signing of goalkeeper Richard Attah. He has signed a long term deal with the club.”
Richard Attah is expected to bring tight competition in the goalkeeping department of the Phobians since this has been one of the major problems of the club in recent years.
The 24 year old has been sensational in the Ghana premier league since joining in the 2017/18 campaign having gone massive 31 games unbeaten at the Ndoum Sports Stadium, in fact he has never even lost there with 21 clean sheets.
Also, in the Normalisation Committee special competition, he was sensational for Elmina Sharks though they couldn’t win both the tier one and two. He kept 8 clean sheets out of the 11 games he played.
