Fastest emerging Dreams FC will be hosting Hearts of Oak this afternoon in a cracking clash in Dawu in match week 7 of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier league season.
Both teams will obviously look very determined this afternoon to claim the bragging right and also recover from the last defeats they both suffered in match week six.
Dreams FC were shocked by Ebusua Dwarfs after losing 2-1 to them at the Cape Coast stadium last Monday. However, the Still Believe boys have also been one of the toughest sides in the league this season.
Placing 6th on the league table with 10 points having recorded three victories, two loses and a draw after six games. Dreams FC have exhibited some sumptuous display this season notably that Emmanuel Okran show when they humiliated King Faisel FC by 4-1 in Dawu. Again, an away win at Eleven Wonders and a narrow victory over the Mauves and Yellows.
The Phobians however will want to bring back the joy and excitement of their fans after losing to their arc rivals Asante Kotoko last Sunday at their own backyard. Coach Edward Nii Odoom and his charges will want to count on their recent away performance to overcome Dreams today notably that Dansoman comeback on match week five.
Hearts of Oak after six games in the league have won 2 games, lost three and drew one which isn’t impressive at all leaving them 12th on the log with 7 points.
Hearts of Oak have had one of their poor starts in the league losing to Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC in their opening games conceding four goals and scored none. They suddenly start to gather their pieces after going three games without a loss humbling both Ebusua Dwarfs and Liberty Professional including a goalless drawn game at the fortress, Sogakope.
Coach Karim Zito isn’t having any headache at the moment as he has all his boys available to select from this afternoon
However, Joseph Esso was given a late go ahead to partake in this encounter after sustaining a cut on his head last Sunday against Kotoko.
Michelle Sarpong has also been handed the greenlight to resume first team training but that starts on Tuesday indicating he won’t be ready for today’s encounter. Meanwhile, Daniel Afriyie Barnie is likely to be named in the Phobians starting line up after exhibiting a stellar display against Kotoko last Sunday.
