The Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation (GBC) have confirmed they will be telecasting live the special Independence day game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko which comes up in London next month.
The game is going to be played mainly to commemorate Ghana’s 63rd Anniversary and will also be aired live on GTV and GTVsports+ as rightly confirmed by their Director, Mr. George Lomotey.
Officially, the game was launched today at the Ghana Football Association Secretariat involving the organisers and officials of the two teams where they agreed on the terms of the game.
It has been agreed after the meeting that, both teams will depart from the country with 30 man contingent on March 5 with the game coming up at the Barnet Stadium on Match 7 2020. The organisers have also agreed an English referee will be appointed to handle the game.
The winner of the game will also be awarded with a cash price as both teams return to the country the next day after the game to continue with their other games in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier league campaign.
