Ghana Premier league outfit Inter Allies have issued warning to the other Ghanaian clubs who are trying any means possible to unlawfully snatch their pollster boy Victorien Adebayor from them.
The Nigerien forward has been on the Phobians favourite list for some time now as they look to capture his signature before the second round commences. Reports yesterday in the media even indicated that the player was spotted in the car of Togbe Afede XIV who’s the chairman of Hearts of Oak.
The management of Inter Allies have released a statement on their official website stating they are going to report any club that will be seen inducing their boy to the Player Status Committee.
They added by saying they have had offers for him abroad, six from Europe and two from Asia. With this, they are asking all clubs chasing for Victorien Adebayor to look elsewhere since their marksman isn’t available to any of them.
The Nigerien forward has been sensational so far this season for the “Eleven Is To One” lads. He’s currently leading the Ghana Premier league top scoring chat with 11 goals. Also, he has assisted four times and has claimed five man of the match accolades.
A statement on the club’s website reads:
“It has come to our notice, that some Ghanaian Premier League Clubs and their agents are unlawfully inducing our Forward Victorien Adebayor contrary to the FIFA regulations on the Status and Transfer of players.
We shall report any further attempt by the said Clubs to the Players Status Committe of the Ghana Football Association.
Currently, Inter Allies and the Players agent are considering Six (6) offers from Europe, One (1) from UAE and One (1) from Saudi Arabia. Victorien Adebayor is NOT available FOR/TO any Ghanaian Club.
We advise that our forward be left alone to enjoy his football career
By this release the said Clubs have been put on notice and assigned final warning.”
