‘Angela’ hitmaker, Kuami Eugene, has stated unequivocally that some Ghanaians have mistaken his boldness for arrogance.
According to the singer, he hardly allows negative criticisms to get to him hence some people in the industry interpret that to mean he is full of pride.
In an interview Thursday with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Kuami Eugene stressed that in Ghana, “when you believe in yourself, people think you’re arrogant.”
The ‘Confusion’ hitmaker says his focus in life is to work hard and excel.
Asked why critics don’t bother him, Kuami Eugene claimed he has ‘seen Kings not aware of their successors and people don’t know who you are till you’re irrelevant.’ He told Andy Dosty on Thursday.
