18 local players invited to the Black Meteors camp

Head Coach of the national U-23 team, Black Meteors has invited 18 local players to start camping ahead of the upcoming CAF U23 Championship which will be staged in Egypt next month.

The tournament is expected to run from 8-22 November later this year. In spite of this, with no time to waste, these local players will commence camping  with the foreign based players joining later. The team will lodge at the M-Plaza hotel in Accra.

The 18 locally base players comprise of three goalkeepers, five defenders, six midfielders and four attackers.

Two Kotoko goalkeepers Kwame Baah and Danlad Ibrahim from Asante Kotoko have all been handed a call up, also two players from the camp of Hearts of Oak in goalkeeper Richmond Ayi and defender William Denkyi have been invited and many more.
