Ghanaian billionaire, Ibrahim Mahama has finally obtained the ownership of Techiman based club, Eleven Wonders after a fruitful meeting with Nana Ameyaw Akumfi few days ago. Reports indicate the business mogul bought the club for a reported fee of $40, 000.
The founder of Engineers and Planners has decided to move the club from Techiman to the capital of the Northern part of Ghana; Tamale.
Since the eviction of Real Tamale United from the premier division, the Northerners have been without witnessing a Premier League game for quiet a long time now.
This takeover by Ibrahim Mahama is likely to end that long drought of the Northerners since the Alhaji Ali Mahama stadium is likely to serve as the home grounds of Techiman Eleven Wonders in the upcoming season.
Ghanaian business mogul which includes Dr. Kwame Kyei, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, Papa Kwasi Ndoum all own a club in our top flight league and Ibrahim Mahama is the next person to join the list.
Ibrahim Mahama is a business man who is regarded as one of the most richest individuals in Ghana and Africa. He’s also the younger brother of former President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama. His net worth is estimated around US$1.9billion.
