Transfer Update: Former Great Olympics defender Misbaw Adams completes a move to Wa All Stars

Wa All Stars have completed the signing of former Great Olympics centre-back Misbaw Adams who has been a free agent for some time now.

Misbaw famously known as “Okolonko” signed a year deal with an option to extend the contract depending on how he will perform in the upcoming league season.

Misbaw Adams since leaving Great Olympics in 2018 hasn’t played any active football. He has been training with the Sky Blues for some months now and has even played in most of their preparatory games including their 1-1 drawn game with Hearts of Oak at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

Misbaw Adams has an asset of defending very well both in air and on grounds. He’s also good at ball distribution and also a good tackler and a ball winner. This has really impressed Head coach John Paintsil and his other technical team members to hand him a contract.

Wa All Stars since the takeover from Mr.Nyantakyi are now based in the country’s capital Accra. They are making series of signings just to beef up their squad and also jell themselves very well for the upcoming season.

Misbaw Adams is the second major signing Wa All Stars have made in this transfer window so far after signing former Bechem United captain Abdul Bashiru. Veteran goalkeeper Fataw Dauda has also been training with them and is likely to sign for the Sky Blues.
