Ghana Premier league side Liberty Professionals have announced the appointment of David Ocloo as their new head coach ahead of the upcoming league season.
This appointment was made following the decision of then coach David Reginald Asante to vacate his post in order to continue with his coaching course abroad. He guided the team throughout the Normalisation Committee special competition.
David Ocloo, 35, is a former footballer who has much experience in the game to impact the young once. He’s known for his style of typical attacking football and nurturing of talents. This means there will be so much promotions into senior team for the young boys in the club’s juvenile team.
Club CEO Linda Ansong explained why the club had settled on Mr.Ocloo;
“We liked David’s enthusiasm and fresh outlook on how to play football. He is ambitious and wants to grow with us. We also like that he has a clear picture of what we want to build going forward .We have one of the youngest teams in the Premier league and we feel he will provide these boys the best chance at maximizing their potential.”
The 35 year old gaffer has previously worked with Togolese outfit Maranatha FC and Wa All Stars. Official unveiling imminent.
