With few weeks to the commencement of the new football season, clubs look to make some additions to beef up their squad whiles others are trying any means possible to maintain some of their key players in order to jell as the 2019/20 season approaches.
Wahab Adams is the latest player to extend his contract after a fruitful negotiations with the management of Asante Kotoko. His new contract keeps him at the Baba Yara stadium until 2022 after inking a three year deal.
Asante Kotoko confirmed the story on their official Facebook handle of which they wrote;
We are delighted to announce that Wahab Adams has extended his contract until 2022.”
Wahab Adams has been sensational and has provided so much solidity at the back line of Kotoko since joining them in 2017 from Aduana Stars. He has paired with different players in the heart of defence since his arrival and has always lived up to the task when call to duty.
This has really impressed the Kotoko management to offer him a new stay under a new technical direction which will be led by newly-appointed coach, Maxwell Konadu.
