With the transfer window still opened and the availability of a new coach, it is obvious the Porcupine Warriors ain’t ready to rest as they anticipate to put up a formidable side for the upcoming league season.
The latest player to join the Fabulous family is Kwame Adom Frimpong who’s joining on a free transfer. The midfielder inked a three year deal with the club after impressing the new technical head.
Kwame Adom had to fight for his way into the Kotoko set up after engaging in some weeks trials with the team. He was part of Asante Kotoko’s squad that made a preseason tour to the Central and Western Region of the country. He lasted the entire duration of the game as Kotoko got held by division one side Skyy FC in Daboase.
Previously, Kwame Adom was with Salalah S.C in Oman after already spending two years with Swedish tier two side, Mjällby AIF.
Technical report indicates that, the young energetic midfielder is a very good ball distributor with a great vision. He’s also a good tackler and his pair with Justice Blay in centeal midfield will be one of the best as the new season approaches.
Kwame Adom Frimpong after sealing the deal expressed his pleasure by saying this during his unveiling yesterday;
“I am very happy to be here. It is a dream come true as I have yearned for this opportunity since childhood,”
“Now that I am here, I will work hard to help the team to progress. I want to win titles. I come here to fight for a permanent place in the team. The season starts soon and I am going to fight to help the team win titles.”
