Finally, and just what many football stakeholders have been waiting for, all is set for the commencement of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League this weekend.
All fixtures of match day one will be honoured on Sunday, 29th December, 2019 with some exciting and mouthwatering encounters coming up across all the league centres.
Ghana has been without active football activities across all divisions since the 2017/18 season after the league got truncated by the “Number 12” expose which was aired by ace investigative journalist, Anas Arimeyaw Anas. For the first time since June 2018, football is returning into the country.
Hearts of Oak will be coming up against Berekum Chelsea in Accra whiles Asante Kotoko will host Techiman Eleven Wonders in Kumasi. League holders Aduana Stars will play Inter Allies in Dormaa and some other interesting pairings coming up.
