The speculations has finally been declared official as top Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr famously known in the Showbiz as Shatta Wale will be performing live on Friday June 3, 2019 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.
The main event for the day is going to be a match week two fixture of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier league as newly branded Legon Cities FC will be locking horns with giant, Asante Kotoko.
The “My level” hitmaker met with the management of Legon Cities FC few days ago to finalise on everything. It has been agreed the multi-award winner will thrill the over 30, 000 spectators with his Melisa, Borjor, My level and many more even before the kickoff of the game.
This initiative will not be powered by the GFA but rather the management of Legon Cities FC headed by Mr. Atippoe, former Black Stars defender, John Paintsil and the other partners. This is done mainly to attract and ensure a lot of people troop into the Ohene Gyan stadium so the team could raise enough funds on the day.
Legon Cities FC exhibited an impressive performance in their first game after holding Liberty Professionals to a 2-2 drawn game at Karl Reindorlf Park in Dansoman last Sunday.
