OFFICIAL: Mubarak Wakaso completes move to Chinese side Jiangsu Suning

Chinese Super League outfit Jiangsu Suning have announced the signing of Ghanaian international midfielder, Mubarak Wakaso from Spanish LaLiga side Deportivo Alaves for a fee of $3million.

It has already been announced weeks ago that the combative midfielder will be leaving for China to have his medicals. After passing successfully, he inked a three year contract with the Chinese outfit.

Mubarak Wakaso after completing the deal took to his Twitter handle to bid farewell to the Alaves fans. He wrote;

“Great moment. great time. Great life. Great memories. Great experience words can’t describe my feelings right now wasn’t easy for me to accept my exit from you guys but in the other way I was also thought of the benefits for both sides. A big thanks to Deportivo Alaves.”

The 29 year old midfielder since joining Deportivo Alaves prior to the commencement of the 2017/18 season has been stellar in the Spanish LaLiga having played 26 games in the league.

Wakaso is known very well as a hard tackler, good in ball distribution with a great vision in the heart of the pitch.

The former Ashanti Gold S.C midfielder is vast experienced when it comes to top flight football. He has played for Elche, Villarreal, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Granada, Deportivo Alaves all in the Spanish laliga. He has also played in the Greek and Russia Premier league with Panathinaikos and Rubin Kazan.

At national level, Mubarak Wakaso made his Black Stars debut in 2012 but came into lime light after exhibiting a superb output against Cape Verde in a friendly which was played in Lisbon prior to the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations. He has made 58 appearances in all for the senior national team.
