Coach Samuel Boadu discharged from hospital

Great news this morning as Medeama SC have confirmed their head coach Samuel Boadu has finally been discharged from the hospital after the unfortunate happening yesterday.

The young gaffer collapsed yesterday during Ghana Premier league week 6 encounter between Medeama SC and Ashanti Gold S.C. He was rushed quickly to the Pentecost Hospital in Tarkwa in a car since there wasn’t the present of any ambulance at the Akoon Park.

Medeama SC however announced after the game yesterday that their coach has been stabilised and is responding to treatment. Just this morning they have confirmed Samuel Boadu has been discharged from the hospital which sounds positive to the Tarkwa fans and the entire Ghanaian football fraternity.

The team have expressed gratitude to the staff at the Pentecost Hospital for their care and treatment and all fans that showed concern. It is understood Coach Samuel Boadu will be given some time to spend with his family before hr returns to his post in few weeks to come.

After been released from the hospital, Coach Samuel Boadu stated;

“I am naturally pleased to be discharged from the hospital and would like to thank every single member of the hospital staff.

I would like to thank my club and also wish to say thank you to all the many well-wishers who have sent several messages of support.

Now that I am out of the hospital, I am looking to continuing my recovery and return to the pitch.”
