River Jamboree is a two(2) day entertainment event curated by Champ Hubs with production support from Top Ravers to give fun lovers a great experience in a different setting far away from home.
Volo seats comfortable on the mouth of the Volta river Lowe basin in the North Tongu district of the Volta region with a rich migration history and events like the failed Danish Bomb in 1886 etc.
The Two(2) days event will give the audience an opportunity to network while contributing to the local economy which will go a long way to impact the livelihood of the people in the area.
As an advocate of the natural environment, River Jamboree by extension seeks to highlight the deteriorating effect of global warming on our water bodies especially the Volta river and the need to plant trees to protect it.
Celebrated Ghanaian musician of high reputation and leader of the Volta Regime Music Group, Edem will headline the maiden edition in full glory.
Prolific rapper Keeny Ice, the people’s man JJ Gonami, Jah phinga, Ice phlame and Fiamor, Epixode, Agbeshie will all share the stage to entertain fans and audience while pushing the agenda of tree planting along the Volta river.
Special guest of honour will be the Honourable Okudzeto Ablakwa Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency who has in many ways pushed creatives in his constituency and beyond.
